USDA Weekly Crop Progress

OMAHA (DTN) -- Harvest continued at a steady, albeit slow, pace over the last week, according to USDA's weekly Crop Progress report. Soybean harvest progressed 7 percentage points to 51 percent complete while corn harvest picked up 5 points to 25 percent complete.

That puts corn harvest 46 percentage points behind the five-year average and 28 points behind the 2008 pace. "Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Nebraska, and Minnesota are running anywhere from 44 percentage points to an incredible 67 percentage points (in Illinois) behind the five-year average," said DTN ...
